The Bill Hicks Tribute Nights were started by Matt in 2004, on the 10th anniversary of Bill's death, and began the relationship with Bill's family that lead to the feature documentary American The Bill Hicks Story. We did the 11th Anniversary event in 2005, and the 15th in 2009, both selling out Jongleurs/Lock 17 in Camden, and featuring stand up from Andrew Maxwell, Robin Ince, Brendon Burns, Mark Steel & Jeff Innocent. So far, the tribute nights have raised over $20,000 for the Bill Hicks Wildlife Foundation, which helps sick and injured animals in Texas.

This film is from the 20th Anniversary event with Bill's family in attendance, and was widely covered in the press - Steve Hicks appeared on Shaun Keaveny's BBC6 Music show, and there were with feature articles on Bill's continuing significance in
The Guardian, Shortlist, Esquire, The Telegraph and many others (PR by the awesome Charlotte Clark).

Thanks to all who came and took part in this special evening, and all the tributes thus far.
