1985. A sceptical insurance officer investigating a fatal fishing boat accident off a remote Scottish island is haunted by memories of his missing daughter. Dismissing tales of a mythical sea beast as island superstition, strange phenomena he encounters begin to make him doubt first his opinion, and then his sanity.
